Here’s another review of webcomics I’m currently reading! You can find the previous spotlight here.
Just one for today!
Humor Me by Marvin.W
Humor Me is a Webtoon canvas comic that has been going since 2016 until now. It’s about the misadventures of a girl named Charlie (who everyone thinks is a boy) and her navigation of life (and school) taking care of her little brother, as their father left them. There are continuous shenanigans and the character dynamics are just amazing. Charlie must also deal with an annoying model she happened to save from paparazzi who is convinced that Charlie is a crazy “fanboy”.
I’m almost caught up and am sad that I now have to wait for new chapters, as the author only posts once a month. This webcomic’s art is utterly brilliant and the story is gonna suck you right in!
According to the author on Webtoon there are physical volumes but they don’t sell on a digital shop yet, so I believe it’s by convention only.
Webcomic Updates:
Still storyboarding chapter 2…
Once that’s complete I’ll probably go back to some script writing.
Substack Updates:
Can I just say, I liked when the dashboard showed followers rather than how many of your subscribers came from the app.
Anyways, If you do happen to have the app, I’ve started the chat! I added a question for ya’ll to answer just for funsies so if your down for something like that come leave a reply or just say hello!
Have you read Humor Me? Drop a comment and let me know what you thought of it!
That’s all for now!
